Fees for Forensic Examination and Consultation Services
Examiner: Dr. Barbara Markway, Ph.D. is referred to as the “examiner” in this agreement. The examiner’s role is to conduct an independent objective examination and ultimately to be the court’s expert.
Client: The retaining attorney, and not any litigant, party, third party, or insurance company is the client of the examiner. The client is the financially responsible party. The examiner will keep the client informed as to the status of the evaluation.
Fees: All payments should be made to Dr. Barbara Markway. Prompt and timely payment is required for all services.
$200 per hour for time reserved for services provided in office.
$200 per hour for time reserved for all legal proceedings including depositions and testimony (2 hour minimum).
$200 per hour for time reserved for telephone consultations.
$200 per hour for records review.
$75 per hour for travel time.
Appointments and Cancellations: Because the scheduled appointment time is held exclusively for one person or task, advance notice of cancellation is required. Cancellation charges are calculated as per the table below:
